We are seeking a dependable, organized, and professional Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our growing tax and accounting firm.

This position requires working in our Houston office. Remote work is not available for this position.

• Schedule appointments and assist with client intake 
• Answer and route routine client calls and inquiries 
• Scan, organize, and maintain client documents and files 
• Track missing documents, signatures, payments, and outstanding items 
• Send routine client reminders and follow-up communications 
• Update client records and workflow systems 
• Assist with Tax365 Academy administrative activities 
• Help maintain an organized and professional office 

We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, organized, comfortable with technology, and able to handle confidential information professionally.

Previous administrative or professional-office experience is preferred but not required. Tax experience is not required.

Seasonal / Part-Time | Remote Opportunity

We are seeking professional and detail-oriented Tax Preparers for the 2027 filing season.

Both experienced tax professionals and developing preparers who have completed comprehensive tax preparation training are encouraged to apply.

This position offers the opportunity to work remotely. Preparers must be able to work independently, communicate professionally with clients and staff, and comply with all company information-security and confidentiality requirements.

• Prepare accurate federal and applicable state individual income tax returns 
• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy 
• Conduct client interviews and obtain missing information 
• Follow IRS due-diligence and company quality-control procedures 
• Maintain accurate client notes and documentation 
• Protect confidential taxpayer information 
• Participate in required training and tax-law updates 
• Refer complex matters for appropriate review 

Experience with Schedule C businesses, rental real estate/Schedule E, depreciation, prior-year returns, and business owners is especially valuable.

Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid PTIN before preparing federal tax returns for compensation.

Qualified preparers may have opportunities to advance into more complex tax preparation, prior-year and delinquent returns, transcript analysis, senior preparation, review, and future leadership positions.
